Adobe Creative Cloud 2021 release – part two

Introduction

In November last year, we shared a post detailing the part release of the 2021 edition of Adobe’s Creative Cloud Suite. Now in early March 2021, Adobe has released 2021 editions of their video-related applications, as follows:

• Adobe After Effects (v18.x) – What’s new?
• Adobe Audition (v14.x) – What’s new?
• Adobe Character Animator (v4.x) – What’s new?
• Adobe Media Encoder (v15.x) – What’s new?
• Adobe Prelude (v10.x) – What’s new?
• Adobe Premiere Pro (v15.x) – What’s new?

As before, aside from the expected improvements and new features, there is also a rise in the minimum support version of macOS, from macOS 10.13 High Sierra, to macOS 10.14 Mojave. Other than this, the licensing and administration side is almost entirely unchanged.

Note: if you are currently an Adobe Serial Number License (SNL) or Adobe Device License (DL) user, you will need to migrate to either a Teams/CC license (aka Named User License or NUL) or a Shared Device License (SDL – for education only).
