Jamf Nation User Conference 2020
For the past ten years, Apple IT administrators from around the world have rallied at the Jamf Nation User Conference (JNUC) for community presentations, deep-dive education sessions and expert product insights. Focusing on new and improved ways to manage Apple devices with the purpose of empowering people, transforming business processes and making IT life easier.
For the fifth year in a row, dataJAR has been on the JNUC stage, this time with two presentations. James Ridsdale, dataJAR’s managing director and founder, took part in a panel discussion about how MSPs help Jamf customers succeed with Apple, while technical director Ben Toms, delivered a presentation on the evolution of jamJAR and the current state of patch management in macOS.
Ben, a Jamf Hall of Fame inductee 2019, was also recognised this year as one of the most valuable contributors to the JamfNation community.
How MSPs solve problems using Jamf
We hear from a panel of managed service providers who use Jamf to ensure their customers succeed with Apple. In this session we talk through their journey, from selecting Jamf to how they scale and some of the common challenges they encounter across their customer base.
jamJAR – three years on
In early 2017 dataJAR released jamJAR onto the Jamf Marketplace and to the wider Jamf Admin Community. This talk gives an update on what has changed within jamJAR, as well as examples of jamJAR-based workflows.
