Introducing our Fintech gurus
Joe Steele - Head of Workplace Technology at Starling Bank
Joe has more than ten years’ experience managing macOS and iOS in both enterprise and education. At Starling Bank, Joe focuses on user experience and is always looking for new ways to improve life for its employees.
Joe’s presentation will focus on current and future challenges in the world of workplace technology, as well as providing insight into his first two years with Starling Bank.
In his role, he has been challenged with the rapid growth of Starling Bank’s Apple estate, transforming from 100 to 1000 users in two short years, while maintaining security and agility.
Christian Asare-Anderson - Client Platform Engineer at Funding Circle
Christian has been working in technology for seven years, although has been concentrating predominantly on managing Apple devices within an enterprise environment for the last four.
In the past year, Christian’s focus has been on Apple infrastructure transformation, automation and advancing efforts with zero-touch within Funding Circle.
In his opinion, Apple is often overlooked because of the initial cost of the devices, although Christian firmly believes Apple provides a better return on investment than its counterpart if used and managed correctly.
Gui Teles - IT Service Operations Director at Zopa
Gui has been working in IT for 15 years within a range of industries, from fashion to healthcare. He is deeply passionate about technology and how it can be used to enhance people’s lives.
The presentation will cover his many and varied experiences throughout his career. He will explore how technology affects productivity, and also how different technologies have a direct impact on their environment.
Gui has faced many challenges within the Fintech industry, predominantly those around efficiency, cost and productivity.
