The framework is driven by the government’s ‘Cloud First’ policy and approach to IT, encouraging public sector organisations to utilise modern cloud solutions rather than legacy technologies. Organisations can use the Digital Marketplace website to search and choose from various suppliers offering cloud-based and digital technology services in the UK, with the peace of mind they are purchasing from an approved G-Cloud supplier.
